Xinjiang Sees Fresh Exploration and Development Results

Gas exploration and production in Tarim There is a promising trend for natural gas exploration in Tarim Oil Field with natural gas in place accumulated to 558 billion cubic meters, said Sun Delong, president of PetroChina Tarim Oil Field Company, in a recent interview with media. With the efforts to accelerate exploration of a number of new gas fields, Tarim Oil Field in China's Northwest Xinjiang Autonomous Region can secure a stable 12-billion-cubic-meter gas supply for the West-East gas transmission pipeline for 30 years, he added.
